Funny thing is, I've been in the reverse situation where I was the technical guy, but the other guy was the toxic one. So I may be biased. Why is the 'toxic' guy showing this behaviour? That question has not been answered but

I agree. The story is that Kubernetes has 'won' but I still love the simplicity of Docker Swarm. And I would definitely recommend anyone to start with it and maybe later, if you have hundreds or thousands of nodes, migrate to k8s.

I am 57. And 40 years in software development. And I would say yes, but with some caveats. First, the speed with which new frameworks and tools come out, definitely slows things down, because of the need to learn them all over again. Second

Still, I can confirm from personal experience this is how the world works for many people. Been in multiple companies that went bankrupt because the sales people showed this behavior.

Last September I was in Armenia. I paid at a supermarket with my debit card. I immediately opened my banking app for my Dutch bank, and the amount was already withdrawn.

It is used in the VoIP market. Always behind NAT, yes. We found zerotier much easier to manage, for example it's so quick for support to join/leave networks. Another use case is our Docker Swarm which runs completely on zerotier

We have been using tinc in our network appliance since 2012, but early 2015 we moved to zerotier because it's so much simpler and versatile.

Personally I find the sales tax system in the US much more complicated. At least in Europe the percentages are the same within each country, but in the US they differ per state, county and even per town.

I can't believe that you came to that conclusion after trying them both. Try comparing the config files for Swarm and k8s for the same system, the former are much shorter and simpler.
