He said the shortest implementation, not the shortest execution. I think he meant that the easiest solver to "code" is to just remember the scramble and reverse it. You can see from the videos that it is not doing that though. The

When I read this I thought, what is n? You mean pi, right? Yes, 18.3 inch wheel is what I got. Here in the UK, the "wheel" size includes the tire as well, I think. I guess if the rim is 17 inch diameter then 18.3 is only a tire wi

The wheels must have been a little bigger than 17 inches, since (62/12) * (62/12) * 17 = 453.8 Massive gear. I wonder if anyone could get that moving from a standing start. A huge 1km TT rider maybe?

People take bags onboard to avoid fees, yes, but mostly because airlines lose hold luggage (or send it to the wrong place) and even if they don't you have to go and wait for it at the carousel. The last flight I took, there were too ma

I presume you mean "never the case for many people". As in "most people never left their PC on 24/7". That may well be true. I used to run a couple of minecraft servers for my kids. Judging by how amazing their frie

Why would you be sure of that? As it happens, I have a TV and watch it every day. In fact, research (in the UK) suggests that people who use phones less are more likely to watch TV than people who use them a lot. It wasn't my intention

My phone is on and with me for less than 50% of the time. Just saying; phones are not as important to everyone as you think. (yes, I am over 40)

Does tolower() or toupper() even make sense with general unicode characters? I wouldn't expect it to... but I've never really thought about it before :-)

Presumably there is a different "name taker" each time. So if you "cheat" when you are "it" then next time you will get some comeback.

I'm confused. Do you mean you fast for 12 hours on each of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, totalling 36 hours? Or you fast for 36 hours starting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday... which would be all of Monday and half of Tuesday etc?

They are parasites because they actively make it hard for people to find jobs adverts directly, by flooding job sites with their own adverts. In the age of Google it should be relatively easy to search for job ads in a particualr area. But
