Here is a recent discussion about "WTF Happened in 1971?" There are quite a few different opinions. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheMotte/comments/hyh565/wtf_happen...

In my opinion the core idea is about the data model: Double entry accounting stores movements of money instead of accounts. Everything else follows from that idea plus a bunch of terminology.

Fully agree. For 1 you need preproduced material: Wikipedia, Khan academy, Anki cards. Teachers only act as gatekeepers here. For 2 you need interactive toys like a Logo Turtle or Minecraft. Teachers act as coaches.

Are you sure about the hair color? My feeling is that movie villains tend to have black hair while the good guys are more often not black. It isn't a strong association though. Superman has black hair while Cersei is blond. Black has a

Big enterprises are (too) great at improving efficiency for their low-level workers. On the other hand they utterly fail to do so with the middle management. The alternative theory would be that middle management does its job efficiently bu

If you see an abstraction does not fit, you have the choice to consider it incomplete or unsuitable. If incomplete, you can fix it (assuming write access). If unsuitable, you should "back it out" as you say. In my opinion this dis
