I love the Idea, and I think it's pretty smart. When I'm doing work on my laptop, I always have my phone nearby. I think it's unlikely that both of them are compromised or stolen simultaneously. Also, the Android app requires

You're obviously very frustrated by how people see the service, but you can't blame them. The GIMP incident made pretty big news, and for many people, the name "SourceForge" will stay equivalent to a malware-injecting ho

An online toolchain would be a nice concept in theory, but at least on my laptop, performance is still an issue. Online IDEs still eat up a lot more resources.

What I find interesting is that people who like those mate drinks are quite brand loyal (at least in my experience). I've tried at least 10 different brands since I had my first Club Mate 15 years ago, and I hated every single one of t

Let's hope this takes off and leads to regulating the oceans. For example: industrial, unregulated fishing destroys coral reefs every day. They are thousands of years old and won't come back.

I'd like a dead-simple and globally accessible way of donating. Like github/gitlab/etc allowing to easily deposit money via CC, Paysafecard, Google Wallet et al. The projects could have a "donate" button by default.

The burden of compliance lead to many businesses scrambling to meet the deadline or else they would pay fines up to £17.5million (€20million). I can't hear this anymore.

Downloading YouTube files is ridiculously simple. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XxXxXx&layout=mobile&ajax=1 There you have all stream files in a nice json format, which means opus and m4a for audio files. I have a py

> A colleague once tried to put a flatworm in his mouth, Justine recounted. The man still describes it as “one of the worst experiences of his life.” You just gotta love scientists.

Is safety a real concern here? I would have never viewed Kinder Eggs as dangerous in any way. I haven't found a single case of a child getting hurt in Germany. Only news reports about them being unhealthy (big surprise).

I think it depends on the income. But, considering many people buy regular watches costing 20 times more, I wouldn't see an Apple watch as a status symbol either.

There was a time where is discovered the speedrun and tas communities and binge-watched everything it has to offer. I was constantly amazed by what the players achieved, and I especially liked the ones where the gap between tas and human pl
