Absolutely unreadable because of this. I often just read segments of a paragraph to see if it contains interesting information and scroll on - or back if I think I missed something - but this scrolljacking breaks everything. I've rarel

These buttons are usually located so close to each other, that one PCB can hold many of them. Then you need just one set of wires which connects the ECU to the controller on the PCB.

Its so great when you know where the buttons are located, that you can touch them in the darkness without them suddenly selecting anything. When you need to make sure "is this the second one from the left?", then apply some force

There is a future where this is within the realm of the possible. All it takes is one good AI capable of doing this which can then be duplicated many times to work on this task. An AI engineer which knows how languages compile down to machi

"10:24 – Flushed the toilet" is certainly more easy to transmit than an audio file which then must be analyzed in a datacenter. Let's see if they really care so much about privacy in 10 years, once LLM/AI has settled. Bu

Makes me question why Google never bothered to create something like search sessions which could be enriched with comments/notes and would be located in a sidebar just like the chats in ChatGPT/Claude/Mistral are. They really

What happened to the issue with ZFS which occurred around half a year go? I never changed a thing (because it also had some cons) and am believing that as long as a ZFS scrub shows no errors, all is OK. Could I be not seeing a problem?

I tried Cursor this month but even though it is much better than copilot, it also tries to do too much. And both of them fail regularly at generating proper autocompletions, which makes Cursor a bigger annoyance because it messes up your co

I'm also betting on this, that one day I'll be able to dump a codebase into an LLM and it will clean up the code. Not rewrite it, not restructure it, just clean it up. Remove unused code and comment it sensibly. Maybe also suggest

You don't need to publish the IP addresses publicly if you use an internal DNS server. I think even Pi-hole could do this.

If you know that you'll be buying a new phone every 3-4 years, you might as well start saving towards it, regardless of it costing 200€, 500€ or more. It's harder to do that with a car or a house.
