I occasionally use my steam deck as a desktop replacement but I'm always relieved to go back to my windows 10 desktop, for two reasons: 1) No native Onenote app. Nothing else checks all the boxes I need for a note taking app - easy eno

Where did you end up going? I have some savings and would like to retire early, and getting health insurance is an impediment to that. Need somewhere that doesn’t require a work visa and is a good place to raise a family. I have enough to d

It's a pleasure to drive and it has been great for what I use it for. Mostly family stuff but the occasional camping trip in the middle of nowhere. A Rivian R1S probably would have been more practical for me due to the 3 rows of seats.

OP here. Yeah I talk about them a lot. All of the other topics I could talk about, I seldom have original content to contribute. All of the interesting things get said pretty quickly for software engineering, living in a west coast city in

The CT isn't great as a large SUV replacement for moving people, because it lacks a 3rd row. It's also not a great ICE truck replacement due to EV trucks having terrible range when towing. But as a tech bro who doesn't do &qu

As a cybertruck owner who likes to drive deep into national parks, I'm optimistic about this. Tesla covers the big highways really well with their superchargers, but where they fall short are those adventure/outdoors destinations.

Ah, didn’t realize we were already due for our weekly anti-Tesla article. Gotta give everyone their opportunity to make barely topical rants about Elon.

Maps may have had lots of improvements but they keep relentlessly cramming more and more ads and sponsored content into it. I now actively avoid using it as much as possible. Which is directly relevant to the topic being discussed here. Eng

My highly customizable split mechanical keyboard. Not naming the product because it's my fault that I regret it. It's very high quality and does exactly what it claims to do, and I'm sure many users are happy with it. It cost

(Anecdote alert) Most of my Asian friends (mostly first-generation immigrants) have Teslas. Same with many Asians (East & South) at work. The politics don't even register, so the evaluation is purely based on utility. Based on that

I'll answer this in good faith if you're willing to listen! Am a happy CT owner. I paid an amount that is in line with a "fully loaded F150" according to a google search. I consider the two vehicles fairly comparable bot

Mine has two physical recalls active, but they’re not serious so I haven’t scheduled any maintenance yet. Unlike my Honda civic a couple of decades ago which had an airbag that was killing people. That one I got taken care of quickly.
