It‘s only a problem if the system is not properly installed. In countries with proper regulation and professional certification this is not an issue.

The typically used R32 does not cause any ozone issues. It is a climate gas, but only if it escapes from the pipes which it doesn‘t if properly installed.

And how many _actually_ believe it? They may try to believe or hope but their behavior suggests the majority of the believers are not so sure after all.

So according to you everyone is wrong, all the courts, all the other EU countries (which unjustly are wealthier than Ireland due to colonialism), the commission and the court and of course the decision taken by it.

Look, it's nice that Ireland is finally not a poor country anymore. That's primarily due to EU politics and support. It is, however, economically nowhere even close to France or Germany, no matter how large you think the "tec

Sure, but many people - especially many (most?) on this site - could probably live in about 20% of the space they live in and drive a cheaper car an so on and the rent/mortgage/bills will then at best only make up 20% of their inc

This is simply not true. If a cell would not behave as intended on average it would stop being a cell. The fact is that an amoeba cell behaves in a certain way for all amoebas. It does not go around and behave like a stone or like a drop of

The paper does not cover this. I didn‘t say every single molecule in the cell acts predictably. I said that the cell „performs a task it should perform and does so using the same approach across all instances.“

Okay, „parts“ for me was just a word to refer to the machine, it is also okay if it is only a single part. It still remains a machine in the sense that it performs a task it should perform and does so using the same approach across all inst

It‘s an evolved machine, meaning that the parts are not designed to be easily understandable or maintainable or to develop or even necessarily particularly easy to evolve. But the videos are good, thank you.

And why, exactly, would the other players not be able to simply do the same? Since all the important parts of the tech are widely understood and largely published?

What‘s an example for „latest functionality“ or „best practices“ that should or could possibly change for a function like leftPad and that would not automatically happen by virtue of being in the code base (such as formatting)?
