We accept photography as art, too without calling it stealing. Perhaps art is as much about selection and presentation as creation.

A half truth. Some people care and are much more likely to value technically simple works by an artist if he is known to be skilled.

At a minimum, the Hunter Biden „story“ was controversial if not taken out of context or misinformation. What‘s controversial about Substack?

Depends on the action. Gluing oneself to the street in order to prevent 5% of 2% of an industry that is rapidly shifting to EVs is questionable, for example.

The trousers I‘m wearing right now have fake pockets at the back. I‘m a man. It has nothing to do with men or women. Many women do not wear makeup. Again, this depends a lot on the country. Many women choose to wear makeup or dress uncomfor

So what's the real future cost of a photovoltaic panel then? Will there be people alive in 100 years that need to spend money on my panel or something really bad happens?

Which country do you live in? Can you make a list of clothes that are supposedly legally or even socially prohibited? I have no idea what you refer to. What do you mean with the number of pockets? Presumably there are 4-6 pockets on trouser

The question is really if a software update will "fix it down the track". If the auto wipers are an indication, no it won't. On the other hand, the basic vision-based autopilot really _does_ work very well.

I think they charged 1 Euro when you bought the app. I doubt that covers the costs to keep it running.

It doesn't make sense to split Apple into hardware and software since the integration and simplicity that comes from it is the very thing that makes Apple unique.

Wow, just wow. Everything would be the same, whether you vote for equality or not? Says it all. The article even states that the current president is related to this protest. So you‘re disputing that?

Have to reply a second time: It does serve a purpose. There is a purpose in fear and the purpose is to either get us moving if we are complacent or to prevent us from doing things that are not good for us. So the fear may be justified. Mayb

I disagree. ChatGPT is a clear turning point. We have not been going too fast before, at least not outside LLMs. Singularity is a belief system, it has very little to do with AI. edit: I also think if we would ever get to a point where AI g

It seems that a typical battery might only need 5-75 kg Lithium. So that would then be < $400 if your computation is correct. So even better. Even if this cost would be on top of existing costs this would still be not prohibitively expen
