The question is really if a software update will "fix it down the track". If the auto wipers are an indication, no it won't.
On the other hand, the basic vision-based autopilot really _does_ work very well.
- akmarinov 4y agoYou mean the one they said that they'll eventually bring back it working with over 140 km/h and being able to follow at 1 car distance instead of the minimum 2 now? It's been 2 years since they've promised that.
- quonn 4y agoWhether this bothers you really depends on the country. It would both me in Germany where there are still many unlimited roads, but anywhere else? Not sure ... But even then it was limited to 150 before. Not a big difference. And a follow distance of 1 is not safe in any case.
- akmarinov 4y agoStill - they took away the functionality, promised that it' return and there's nothing for 2 years. Anything else is just making excuses for them.
