A while ago I read shopify hosts stores in pods. Pods are self contained instances that runs everything inside it, that includes mysql, redis, etc. does that mean this number is collective counting all the pods and not a single database?

I disagree. Its more about providing equal opportunity. Ticket booking sucks for everyone rich and poor alike. This kind of app will favor rich people who can ignore its commission and spend little more for better experience. One might say

Just inherited a project which cost $100 in lambda and it is still in development. The technology decision was made by client and previous developers just went along. Donno how to explain what perks to expect once its launched. Nothing wron
