I won't disagree that it could be better- but doesn't this ring of pie in the sky thinking? If you're the only person who is using a thing, and you want it supported- you'll probably have to do it yourself. Now, if there

Second article in one day mentioning how bad credit card fraud can be to handle, especially for smaller sites. I wonder if there might be an opportunity there? Or if the solutions have to be so custom that it'd be impossible to work ou

Wow. This is ridiculous. "I've got a weird set up OS for a reason, but this software should work even though no one else would ever run this." "Whatever- this database should work, even though I'm using a 4 year old

Thanks! I'll give it another shot, using those exact tools. Is there any guide out there for the usual application structure?

Personally, I'm not as confident. I spent a week doing a lot of React projects, and while it's nice, it is what it is- a view layer. When interacting with a complex web of routes, models, components, and templates, I have found Em

Since the developers are here in this thread- I'm curious where this goes from here. I'm an Ember developer, but sometimes Ember's heavyweight attitude isn't needed for a project, and I see React as the natural direction

How do you figure? The internet is a non-central system by default. There is no central authority, period. Someone putting money and time into their own website does not help fund Stormfront. Why is it that when anyone tries to make a state

I like that approach. Might I ask what the header is? HTTP-COMPLIMENT or somesuch? It could be a fun 'standard'.

This is a remarkably well-written article. Made me really feel for the company, both in terms of sympathy and wanting to see them succeed. One thing it did left me wondering, was covered in the final paragraph: "...Engineers can spot h

Yup. And Ember's getting even ridiculously fast post-load, too, thanks to Glimmer. When it comes out, it should be the fastest full-fledged framework. I'm sure the others will catch up super soon though!

I'm not an Angular user(Ember here), but in time all of the major frameworks will allow for serverside rendering. The React model works very well, and most projects are taking a lot of ideas from it. Ember will have fastboot in a coupl

There's a lot of React fans around here, but the two are really not as similar as some may act. Ember.js is a framework, in every sense of the word. It values convention over configuration, has an idealized tool pipeline(via ember-cli)
