What exactly did you search? It worked when I typed that in. [1] Edit: I see you wrote beads. I have to improve the fuzzy search. Thanks! [1]: https://nowwhatdoiread.com/?q=The+glass+bead+game

I like that they are using websockets to process the GET requests. I was thinking about this just this week and it occurred to me that the "Host Node" [1] doesn't even need to be a program, it could just be a browser since th

Thanks that's really helpful. Can you share your ALSA config also (.asoundrc)? I'm having trouble configuring the loopback for recording the fluidsynth output.

This is so cool! Clever programming and nice piano playing! Would you share how your iBook is setup, e.g. what is your liquidsoap configuration? Are you directly capturing from ALSA?

magic-wormhole is useful for terminal-to-terminal in realtime. I actually wrote something similar for that too [1] because I didn't want to have to rely on a Python ecosystem. This new server is mostly useful for browser<->termin

Thanks. I'll think about the password. Right now more than one person could claim a username but they will only decrypt what they can with their password. Because of that it's hard to check password validity.

Just do it! You have a passion for it, so harness it! Go to the dollar store and buy some brushes and canvas (both are surprisingly good despite being cheap). Then buy a 48-color acrlyic (or oil) set, so you don't need to worry about m

I read Stories of your Life and Others by Ted Chiang. It features a bunch of stories that intersect a lot of science and philosophy. There is a story that is about humans having a finite germ line. There is a story about a future scenario w
