What happens if the equity loses value but doesn't go to zero? Is the principal reduced? And if the price stays flat, is interest still owed? And what triggers a settlement. Would the loan get called back only during a liquidity event

Rugby turned pro in 1995. So the "amateur era" is likely referring to players pre-1995. While not strictly "pro", they were not your typical rec league players. They were doing international tournaments and playing for

Contract law is literally one of the main functions of government. The court system, paid for by taxpayers, is used to settle those disputes. So it is in the governments interest to clearly define what is and isn't allowed in a contrac

I would avoid coastal communities. Wealthy beachfront owners will likely find a way to socialize their losses, either by getting taxpayers to fund coastal armoring or via direct bailouts. Alternatively there is the risk that property in tho

Indeed. There is a reasonable argument to be made that Europe might get colder in the future. It really depends on the gulf stream. If that turns off, it could be the end of grape growing for all of Europe.

Well the only reason someone would not want a big raise is because they would be worried that it would put them higher up on the chopping block if/when layoffs come around. So that criteria kinda self selects for under performers. But

You are making it harder for recycling to be profitable/worthwhile. Sorting the material and disposing the trash is one of the biggest costs associated with recycling. If the inputs to the processes get too saturated with waste, the re

For the married scenario, would you suggest just combining income, cash, investments, etc. under one person? Also, is there a way to model purchasing a house in the future? Probably the biggest decision I am struggling with right now.
