> Your comment about microorganisms is about 'where to draw the line' and your comment about 'tend to infinity' implies you like the 'appeal to extremes' form of argument. I would say that's accurate. I

What's a normal life? I've seen the chicken scene, and I've killed a chicken with my bare hands. I've clubbed a fish and cleaned it. I'm not afraid of where my food comes from. Chickens don't have hope, and I d

I believe you're being down voted because you haven't said anything of substance. You mentioned an anecdote and how the sequence reached Moderna. If you're implying something, maybe say that instead of baiting people to guess

No. The technology grants many benefits, for example I use Siri on my iPhone almost everyday. I don't use social media, however. I find it largely useless and unappealing. How exactly would you describe "digital malaise?" I w

You're speaking in past tense about baggage you carry. No one is keeping score but yourself. The only way your life will improve is tackling your issues instead of making excuses for them. I say this with kindness, you need to get over

I don't think many people are motivated to do much of anything, and so by consequence they prefer the easier, "fun" option of wasting their time. A motivated person doesn't have to force themselves to work hard, it'

I remember using and liking Winamp, but I didn't use it for anything other than playing music files. How was/is Winamp more capable than the Spotify app?

Fwiw, when I worked a crappy retail job and was on my feet 8 hours straight, I despised pointless meetings and training and would have rather been sweating while hauling boxes or cleaning the store toilet.

Would you say it's a feeling of artificial normality? I read once that some schizophrenics smoke as a method of self treatment. I'm not sure how else to understand how a nonsmoker feels all the time. Did you ever feel a high sensa

I would argue that sucking on a lozenge is about as much of a ritual as sucking on a cigarette.

I've always had a hard time with this because I would think we would see people horribly addicted to nicotine patches and lozenges if this were true. What makes a cigarette so different?

I appreciate the feedback. I'm not at all interested in seeking it out anymore, those days are long behind me. I think I might be able to relate to the "trying it" again craving. I don't think I was able to differentiate

I find this to be the case of cycling in general. I love to climb, way more than descending. I think it's because descending is easier, and what's easier sells more bikes.

I can personally relate. Reading something simple, like fiction or an autobiography, is how I fall asleep at night. I let someone else (the author) do some thinking for me, so I can rest!
