Yes, as far as I can remember there was no option to adjust the sensitivity. However there seems to be a third party hack that fixes the issue: https://github.com/AWilliams17/Halo-CE-Mouse-Tool/releases

Sometimes it's nice to have a limited canvas to work on. For example in demoscene the art is to make these old consoles or computers do wonderful things that seem impossible on such limited resources.

Indeed. Long gone are the days when people made extra content for games just for fun (skins, maps, mods etc). The hobbyist modders have actually created few of the most popular games today such as Counter-Strike and Dota.

The big AAA titles have grown to insanely complex multi 100$ million projects, so at least in that way the stakes are higher. Some good games that would deserve awards just don't get the media attention also.
