So, from another Googler's perspective, I haven't felt like there's been much confusing messaging being sent out. We got "You're coming back to the office on Sept. 1st" last year, and we got We're working

For all of the snark that is coming from other commenters, I'm excited to see more engineering talent being pulled to more diverse locations than "the Bay Area" and the rest of the US. Technology and Engineering is not limite

I can't really blame them. Ever since the LG G4, they haven't really been relevant, which is unfortunate. They have the capability to experiment outside of the box, like the Wing, but a business is a business. RIP LG Mobile.

Yeah, they opened up SDC, and added several "zones" as data centers as well.

I love hearing stories from "old" Walmart. I was a Walmartian from 2017 to 2019, and I still miss my co-workers. (Shout-out to the Mobile Client team.) Some interesting facts to know for those who don't dig into it. Walmart:

If you're looking specific for video hosting, you should check out Streamable. $7.99/mo for 2TB of space, and a fair free tier.

There's some lienience to be given with the newer versions of Thunderbolt. On many Windows machines, and given that it's configured correctly, a TB device has to be explicitly allowed to access anything other than USB and Display

Privacy would be an addition on top of the envelope, where only one card can access the envelope. But Simple's UI hid the total value of everything (+ the envelope). Privacy is a proxy, not the destination.

I've noticed something similar in my line of work. One of the major "metrics" that we track is how much a customer has to put effort in to fix an issue/ticket. This is measured via a survey that's sent out after tic

Not gunna lie, based on the design of this page, and we're talking at least 4 design systems in the past, CSP wasn't enforced or as recommended as it is now. Maybe time for a 20% project. Assuming CSP would block it. Disclaimer:

(Googler, opinions are my own. I work in Cloud) I've been using the new pay app, linked with my personal account on Simple, and have been stunned with how well it determines what businesses I'm paying. Splitting bills is nice too

I have the same situation, I can't charge it at my apartment. Usually, I end up just spending ~40 minutes at the local KIA dealership that has a level 3 charger. If I had access to the office, I'd end up charging there as well.
