What, you don't enjoy scanning your mouse over the whole page to see where it turns into a finger? Come to think of it, that behaviour is distracting .. it's only a matter of time before visual designers catch on that a uniform mo

It is glorified gambling, but contribution to the world has nothing to do with it. You may have noticed that the author's confidence was entirely based on emotional, results-oriented thinking (look at that big pot I missed!) and compl

A well-raised point. Not colourblind here, but as someone who remembers the days when visual cues were used, I feel your pain. FWIW, I find using `tab` to bounce around links in the main text helps. Further than that, if you use `vi` on s

This is why I don't play modern games: the big houses seem to be hell bent on "realism", not catching on that we've been in the uncanny valley for over a decade and are not getting out. A computer can't simulate t

Tcl (1990) doesn't directly have macros, but with a calling convention that resembles fexprs it doesn't need them: proc swap {_a _b} { upvar 1 $_a a upvar 1 $_b b foreach a $b b $a {} } Foreach
