Here's my experience trying to find a job on Toptal from Poland: they are good if you're OK with earning peanuts - then the rate charged to the client is reasonable. I suspect that they tried to double my rate. Can't tell any

Being in Poland, it's hard for me to even consider working for GitLab if the salary for a backend engineer tops out at 25k PLN / month pre-taxes, pre-social (that's $80k/yr for a true expert). Berlin companies are willin

I know some trans people (both f2m and m2f) and they really don't have any issues, so yes, it's liveable. You probably won't find large LGBTQ communities like in major US cities though. Of course if you ask a local if they kn

I might be still using Sierra after hearing about all the issues with High Sierra. I don't want to spend a few days configuring my Hackintosh again!

That's actually very fair, I recall that before 2014 I used their old UI and it was not that terrible (other than feeling outdated even then, but outdated is better than nearly unusable). I found that using OpenStack's CLI utiliti

The UI is good enough to set up the storage once and then not ever touch it again. I also enjoy when it randomly switches to French.

You mean the library that you've been using from the beginning of the proper web client? This is not an answer. Kudos for finally doing ECC though.

They're improving performance and UI though, the new features only go to EE* versions. The new features are only a reason for them to get new Enterprise subscribers.

I wish I knew that when adding auto-HTTPS and HSTS functionality to a product - typing out "chrome://net-internals/#hsts" almost became muscle memory.
