I get that, but I am wondering if there is a legal right to privacy here. Besides , is it anyone’s business as to what I identify as ? Is it ethical to force me to reveal this ?

In theory it is not possible to report 100% accuracy here, as I do not have to reveal my gender or race to the company I work for, correct ? That is unless not specified is a category. I personally feel like it is not the companies business

IOT security is funny. Secure ways of deploying things exists today, but retrofitting existing systems would be impossible if the devices don’t support it ? Also, updating a running system… seems like a very costly and time consuming exerci

I can hear the companies complaining now … no one wants to be an inmate anymore.

It’s hard to believe this couldn’t be amended given how unjust it is. I guess the fact that it hasn’t been amended shows everyone how expendable they truly are.

Yes. There is really no way to deliver fixed scope and fixed timeline/cost efficiently which is really what companies are looking for.

That is true, but it does seem like the innovation is coming from a small number of companies while most other companies are relentlessly trying to cut costs at the expense of the customer and employee. Maybe the news is biased towards thes

You don’t hear about companies innovating anymore — you just hear about them screwing over workers and customers.

Overly complicated and hard to understand bullshit, but I guess this is what they specialize in. I really believe on the team in general can be held accountable as a whole. The team knows who isn’t performing and can ask for them to be remo

I’m not sure there is a good solution here . Potentially that could undermine the law? What happens in industries where the law is impossible to enforce ?

I feel like that would be fair, and that the laws should be updated with provisions for this for anything containing api generated content.

I wonder how much humans will have to “selectively arrange” ai generated code in order to constitute human copyright ownership. Would that mean copy and pasted code from chat gpt invalidates a whole codebase , or would it mean that as long

I wonder if there will be any tools to detect pinning or synchronized use to help with the virtual threads transition. Blockhound I have gound useful for detecting blocking in non blocking areas.

It bothers me that Sam Altman may become rich even if his company goes bankrupt. Something does not feel right about that — or am I wrong ?

That is true. I have seen this first hand with bpmn tools such as camunda, where the analysts simply cannot wrap their head around it. However, over time you will need to describe less and less of the code for a large majority of use cases.
