I've most definitely taken ad space into consideration: - a banner near logo, - a leaderboard under primary navigation - and two squares (300x250) can fit nicely along the right side Last night I embedded all of the ad blocks into the tpl,

Silicon Valley has a lot of noise, a lot of hype. People are very excited about all of the Facebook stuff, Facebook applications. It's just been a huge hype over the last year when actually ... there isn't really that much value. It's just

Paul also advises that entrepreneurs not "cut corners" on their brand and image. "Appearances account for everything," he said. +1, couldn't agree more with that statement. :)

oooh, I love the new site updates too... very nice. I wonder if this includes any updates to YUI Grids? I've recently fallen in love it... not sure what else they could possibly offer tho. I love jQuery but YUI has a reputation for cross-br

I went through this same issue when I moved to and from California. Fortunately, my parents each have large garages so what I did was box up a few 'time capsules' of stuff that I might want later. I'm kind of a packrat. As for your books, t

You're most certainly correct. The VC's intention to produce a return certainly has not changed and never will... no rocket science there. That said, please correlate their goal to poor investment strategies/methodologies in hopes of achiev

Based on my experience during 1.0, I've been speculating a fall-out relatively soon as I've seen a lot of me-too popups from the critical areas (SF/NY). Roughly 1 year after this influx in 1.0, the bottom fell out. During 2.0 that pattern w
