Yes. Mostly they are used as pranks against people, but a few serious ones here and there. You can monetize anything if you have a brand. My gf manages this service, and it's mostly for the press.

Well, when we originally built the site it was "suppose" to be a fun way to put your relationship on the internet chopping block. As of late, people use it for all sorts of relationship advice, and many times it has nothing to do with break

I had a friend who applied, it's not something I'd ever want to do. I think Seth is a great motivational speaker and writer, but there are far more people I'd want to give up 6 months with no pay to be mentored by from an entrepreneurial st

Apple is the most secretive company in the world and have no need to publish unpractical prototypes on YouTube, lol. I assure you, they've been exploring alternative interfaces for quite sometime... their entire history encompasses the user

It's funny that I had it set to Dec. 3rd and the app still showed up at Nov. 20th. After repeatedly telling Apple this, they refused to fix the problem.

I don't disagree with you at all, but... I have a problem with Apple taking 30% because the store is far too polluted now. I feel it should be scaled back to 20% due to the amount of marketing and press expenses people (read: indie develope

So established players make the most money. Hardly a shock... Here's what bothers me now. During the Stevenote announcing the iPhone store, Steve specifically mentioned a portion of the 30% that Apple takes went to 'marketing'. Well, that

I love VALVE so much. If it wasn't for them, good old fashion FPS would be practically dead on the PC. To top it off, STEAM is amazing... so much cash generation. Even though I've been pinching my pennies, they took my $45 for Left 4 Dead.
