Thanks, just updated the PDF with a few things I forgot that I thought were important. At the moment, I think we've got our hands full for the next 3-4 months as we recently announced full-service publishing. The open-ended model works grea

Good perspective from a developer doing the entire process. Learning experience side, he'll probably have quite a challenge seeing significant success in the long run (IMO). He might not care about that though, it's very exciting to both ma

PG is brilliant and everyone has their own methodology, but there are a lot of reasons to not use tables aside from standards. Just because someone gave insight into their method, does not mean it's universal. Horses for courses... For one,

I would also challenge that notion and say that limited choice is why there has been a surge in Apple's popularity while Dell/HP struggle to keep their cards in order. I'd also reference the US automotive industry as another point of failur

Hahahah, Android is NOT kicking (nor about to kick) iPhone's ass... some of you early adopters need to stick your head out of the tech bubble and breath a little consumer reality.

I made a web-app yesterday, it printed Hello World except in l33t text. And I think that's the problem with SOME developers mentality about software. Just because it runs and compiles, does not make it an application consumers will use for

I guess I'm going to be the cynic here and ask, how is this an "app"? Unless I'm missing something here, where is the utility that constitutes the label of 'application'? Like "cloud", I think a lot of people are misusing the word "app". In

I won't be carrying around a Netbook until the form factor is a touch-screen tablet. I'd much rather carry around my full-featured 13" MacBook until then... The extra inches is hardly a burden on my shoulder.

It's not something most people should do, but if you're in a pinch it might be a lot better than diluting & dealing with the hassles of bringing in more angels. I don't think you're giving enough credit (no pun intended) to credit card

AMEX is one of the best cards for floating monthly expenses. Customer service is top notch, and you often get an extra year warranty on anything you buy. If you're irresponsible, prepared to get slaughtered by high interest rates that pay f

I think marketing outside of the AppStore would be a lot more viable if there wasn't such a significant pressure to down-price your application. There's just no ROI to be found at .99 + marketing expenditures, IMO, unless you're realizing s
