Don't quote me on this, but I recall the rational for NaN is because NaN is typically the result of a division by 0. Divisions by 0 can be thought of as infinity (for the sake of this explanation, but mathematicians will cringe), but i

Maybe, it depends on how the problem is stated. A couple of things: - is it a mission that requires 1 continuous flight? That would be very difficult to accomplish. You need a lot of fuel to go that far, which in turn increases your mass, w

What about people building their own SDKs from AOSP source? I know quite a few people that does this, which helps them with built-in app developments as you can get all the @hidden methods/properties.

Do you have numbers on what your computer's temperature is at when it's idling and when it's on full load (CPU maxed out)? At idle I'm coming in at around 52C with ambient temperature at around 20C. Full load I can go to

One thing is that the T420 is not sold as a consumer laptop. Under Windows, running AutoCAD/SolidWorks will drive temperature of 90+ degrees. This laptop is suppose to be for those kind of work. Furthermore, I'm not even running h

How did you get your T420 to have no heating issues? What processor/GPU combo do you have? I have a T420 and have major heating issues with it playing games. I've tried everything: thinkpad fan control that turns the fan up to 700

Some background: This company's engine is based on its previous design, the SABRE engine. That engine is designed to reach an altitude at 28km, flying at Mach 5 (which works out to be about 1.5km/s at that altitude, ~15% of orbita

For the purpose at hand, having some secrets accessible by multiple parties without sharing the same password comes in handy[1]. I'm surprised that this is not a feature of a lot of software that relies on encryption with keys based on

Yes. Identity is an intrinsic property of a person. However, how would you design a system to check this property? It's a very difficult property to measure. Having someone vouching for it is a relatively safe and easy way to do this.
