Comparing the officially supported iOS SDK to 3rd party open source libraries is more than a bit disingenuous. I wonder what 3rd party libraries they are using for the iPhone. We've had the same experience he had with ruby libraries with 3

While block based programing environments like this make programming look easier at first glance, I'm unconvinced they actually make things easier. For instance, I don't really see how the example screen is different than something like th

Is the main focus of your site transferring money between users? If not, why not just use paypal or some other 3rd party service? If it is, you are opening a whole can of worms with regards to the legality of your service. You should con

As a software development company, all of our code is in a git repository that has a remote on a VPS. Our documents are primarily Google docs. Important docs are checked into git. Nothing we have locally that is important is not also at s

I've heard in France, you don't even need to do a lousy job. You just need to ask to be "voluntarily fired", and you can receive benefits. If you have a startup, you can receive those benefits indefinitely.

Care to elaborate? Whether or not you have a professionally designed logo would make an interesting A/B test. Have you done or are you aware of any research about this?

The cheapest option would be to make something up yourself. Inkscape ( http://www.inkscape.org/ ) is a decent open source vector graphics editor that you should be able to use to whip up something halfway decent. The issue you can have if y

For most, starting with a mobile website is the best option as the cost is lowest to develop and you reach the widest audience. If warranted, you can follow up with apps for specific platforms.

If you take the leap and regret it, what is to prevent you from getting another good job? You'll probably regret it if you don't take the chance, so I'd go for it.

Nice as an MVP, but I'm not quite sure the value it provides. As a company, we have plenty of recurring expenses, but not much recurring income (as defined as getting the same revenue every month). I guess we could use this to determine w
