I suspect the economic environment may trigger reevaluations at Amazon and many other companies. I am not sure this is a bad thing? Fewer, but better choices may be OK?

Telescopes are on another mountain, Mauna Kea. Lava from Mauno Loa can't reach Mauna Kea. Ash or earthquakes I guess could be an issue. Settlements would be at risk if lava leaves the crater.
