This is actually pretty cool. I would love to see examples like this used in high school gen-chem courses. It would probably help to keep the students' interest in what could be either an incredibly dull or exciting subject, chemistry.

This is very exciting. I've had the chance to meet Brendan Eich a couple of times at Moz conferences, and he never fails to strike me as a visionary and a super nice guy. Between the asm.js stuff and Rust (which I actually had the priv

This is a great article. I'm always in favor of flexible and scientific approaches to dieting. Lyle McDonald wrote a great series of articles on why diets fail (hint: it's a hormone called leptin) [1]. Caloric deficits lead to dec

I wrote the top comment in that thread. I want to take a moment to rescind my hard-line attitude as to what constitutes "proper" fitness. The 7-minute workout may be a bit gimmicky and overly minimalist, but it is certainly better

I could have posted a better reference for that claim, but I was actually very busy when I wrote that. This article by the same author (Lyle Mcdonald, a revered expert on nutrition) clears up that point very well: http://www.body
