Why is there such a difference between men and women on this? I literally lived in a closet as a student. I'm quite content as long as I have a nice desk and chair, good internet, access to a gym and perhaps afford to eat out.

I took over a year off working on a project before I joined another company. Never made any money, but in retrospect I see that I could have made it work in 2-3 years, but the stress would have interfered. Wish I could be more chill, but mo

I'm thankful it's not worse, I have a friend who gets a fever from taking a short walk. In fact, since opening up it seems that many people are battling some form of fatigue or sleep issue. It does feel like dementia, you're

I probably have a milder version of post-infection fatigue, it's not as bad as mentioned in the article (like having run a marathon), but it means that I never feel fully well slept no matter how many hours I've slept, maybe once

Tesla managed to do exactly that, why not Ford? They also started from nothing, built out a massive super charger network to support their cars, as a startup basically.

Yep. There's this massive blind spot created by years of "moderation". All the media has been heavily left leaning, as well as all social media platforms. So sure, when a major social media platform removes restrictions it wi

Pure math is probably not worth the squeeze. I think more important to everyday life is systems thinking and a bit of probability/stats, mainly bayesian updates. "Superforecasting" was an eye-opening book to me, I could see h

I've moved sharply right in the past 4 years. But I still see plenty left content on X so it doesn't seem like a complete echo chamber to me. It could be that the "left" content that reaches me is whatever enrages the pe

It will take a lot to break the network effect of X, probably more so than many other platforms, because it's very detrimental to their reach (and income/revenue share) for people with a lot of followers to move. So the important

I have no interest in being in a left-leaning bubble. I get both sides on X, so far. People think X has been leaning more and more to the right, but in truth it's just not being censored (sorry, moderated) anymore, leading to more righ

The left is way more economically illiterate than the right. Price ceilings, unrealized capital gains taxes, more "socialism" in general is not good economic policy.

No, this whole spiel of big pharma wanting to keep people sick is insane. That could work if there was a single pharma company in the world, but all it takes is one company making an effective cure for a disease and they will make big bucks

True for most people on the left today. For example, they don't like Elon Musks personality/politics (which is fine, very understandable), so they are completely unable to objectively evaluate his achievements. Because they don&#x
