Interesting that the article goes down the route of providing more stimulus to help treat ADHD.. wonder if there's also a case for reducing our need for more stimuli (e.g. with mindfulness or meditation) or whether that's just too

Interestingly this also supports the argument that Peter Thiel made in Lecture 5 of the Startup Class (by YC at Stanford) to avoid competitive markets or to focus on a niche of the market that doesn't contain any direct competitors

I get YC makes mistakes (as does everyone else) but I expected / wished / hoped that the response would be figuring out how to make fewer mistakes; maybe an improved process to reduce the risk of mistakes and not just a blog post

If possible try to take a 10 / 50 / 1000 year perspective. Can you figure out what would matter to you in those cases? I'd guess it won't be the same things that you're worried about now...
