Judging from the available specs, it seems likely the D300 is a modified version of this: http://www.amd.com/us/products/workstation/graphics/ati-fire...

It was Vizzini who kept using that word, and Montoya who did not think it meant what he (Vizzini) thought it meant.

You can manage the certs yourself. Absolutely nothing to prevent adding your own cert to keychain and signing an app with it.

Towns is a stripped-out Dwarf Fortress done shittily with somehow even worse UI. For that sort of game you're better off playing either Dwarf Fortress or Gnomoria, which is also simplified compared to DF but has a much better UI.

I don't know if other thunderbolt displays (are there any yet?) support it, but Apple's do not support daisychaining a display through another display.

Note that that's their recommendation for a single VPS that includes the postgres & redis servers on it as well, not just the Rails stack.

That really doesn't provide any security advantage over just using http. The point of https is to prevent mitm and in this case there's nothing preventing somebody from mitming the original http connection and redirecting to an evil https s

Presumably that deal involved this http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2013/02/google-creates-60m-di... so it's possible that there may not really be much caving at all involved here.

Short of an extremely significant change in the way we do computing, my understanding is that you can just push up the work factor on bcrypt and be fine.

I'd point that unless I'm greatly mistaken there is no server involved, as it is all done through Game Center's turn-based game functionality.

Yeah. I don't see any reason why somebody would ever want to get a tweet sent out to 90k+ dedicated gamers. I just can't seem to come up with a case where that would be a really great use of $500...

More like $30/user, I should note. They have 30 million on iOS and some number > 1 million on android.

I'm pretty sure Thomas is tired of explaining why again and again, but short version is that the javascript environment (in a browser) is such that one can quite reasonably claim that it is impossible to implement crypto securely in it.

I can't speak specifically to how idiomatic it is as I've yet to read it, but I've heard http://www.amazon.com/Eloquent-Ruby-Addison-Wesley-Professio... recommended a few times.

Two of those examples (spelling correction and reversed scrolling) are user configurable settings. Mission control I'd say is less of a workflow breaking change and more of the natural evolution of exposé & spaces.

I'm a huge passenger fan, but I should note that: * this is also a single command to get a rack app running once you have it installed * you can easily support multiple ruby versions/gemsets (otherwise you'd need to install/compile passenge
