The panels themselves have been an insignificant parr of the total cost for a while. Mounts, connectors, wires, and inverters end up costing much more than the panels.

Germany did two things to cope with the loss of nuclear plants. First they simply use less power than before. Second they import nuclear power from France for reliability. Seems kinda silly to me.

It's a general comment on the professionalism of the bulk email delivery industry, namely there is none. Don't expect them to support a free service they decided to shutdown in anyway.

That actually sounds very likely. I've never had an email delivery company return any communication at all once they have decided you're bad. (0% spam report rate, 0.01% bounce rate)

They don't distribute profits to their members. The only thing making them pay tax will do is create an accounting nuisance where they drive profits and thus taxes to zero.

You can get lots of very weird results trying to read a chip this way. Powering the chip will inevitable power other things around the chip, things that might also be trying to read it.
