Estimates != 100% project time spent. I'd say the main issue is misunderstanding of concept we are planning between business and tech people. Those groups think so differentely. We use Planning Poker tool - https://scrumhub.

We could simplify the article to a sentence: be good and clear in communication. That's for sure valuable skill which gives you advantage over other engineers, or to say people in general :)

PHP is a great option to start with, but after a few years of working with the PHP, I'm slowly switching to a JS stack: NodeJS, NestJS, TypeScript, GraphQL. It gives me much more fun than coding in a php, even with organized framework

Yeah, Heroku is not a good way now :] About the GCP free tier I have to read more, but it looks like I'd still mostly manage the infrastructure myself with that.
