Meanwhile I'm in the heart of a city and stuck with unreliable, overpriced, and low speed cable/dsl from Spectrum because I'm pretty sure my landlord is taking part of their payola scheme. I used to live in Chattanooga which

That's probably the only thing that could lend Twitter any credence. Though, I'm not sure if they published the 200 page complaint, but none of the news outlets have said that he specifically references Musk, just that Twitter emp

I'm not sure why any sizeable portion of the public would know _any_ reputable cyber security experts. Twitter's CEO said the firing was due to "the impact on top priority work", and whistleblowing 6 months later isn

I'm not seeing anything about a core dev sitting on a special fork in that article, and I was under the impression that it's _other_ companies which specialize in porting to consoles that have their own maintained version of Godot

We're all speculating here. But if I were a betting man, I do think both Twitter and Mudge's respective track records would place me in Mudge's camp.

Yep, we had to use https://github.com/pentacent/phoenix_live_session and then made a PR for it to support Nebulex as an alternative to ETS. Hoping something like this makes it upstream.

Hm I think it's both issues? From the article: > Godot can’t provide support for consoles because it wouldn’t be allowed to publish the code required to interact with the proprietary hardware

Interesting, I didn't know they couldn't support consoles due to open source. It seems like this could be a pretty smart move.

Minor nitpick, but wouldn't doxxing come before swatting? You sort of need to figure out where they live before that can be pulled off.

Another decent solution is to seed the key, and keep the seed written down or in your password manager. Though I only know of the hacker version of SoloKey that lets you do that. Now you've got the convenience of passwordless login, an

Yeah I only learned about it recently. And apparently "_nomap" _has_ to be at the end of the SSID. A weird system for something that should be opt-in anyways.

Another recommendation I'd add is appending "_optout_nomap" to your SSID name. That will let you opt out of both Microsoft and Google's access point data collection.

I hope we can figure it out! I'm a big fan of explainable AI initiatives. Though I have a feeling it won't be for another decade or so before anything huge is discovered, considering how long the technology has been around.

The irony is that these machine learning algorithms are effectively coincidence machines. There's no rhyme or reason as to why they work once you have even just a handful of neural net layers, and people invest quite a lot into these m

Yeah I would say mailing in cash without a return address or using Monero are the best options. Shipping would be the most difficult to preserve privacy; even a P.O. box will at least indicate your locality. I'd definitely like to hear

Nebulex shines when you need a distributed cache. ETS is per-node so you'd need to handle synchronizing the data if you ever scale horizontally. To keep it simple, you could rewrite this post using ex_shards as it handles scaling ETS (
