The modeling language for Fornjot is Rust. To me, this seems like an akward language to write models in. Not saying that OpenSCAD:s modeling is amazing though.

I would say that when you know the strengths and weak spots in a language and can program to take advantage of the former and avoid the latter, then you know the language. Syntax and operators is not enough.

Coming from MSSQL I was equally surprised that you cant query across databases in postgres even if they are on the the same server. Yeah there is the Foreign Data Wrapper thing but the DBA was very reluctant to enable it or whatever.
