Both of these are stupid but we should blame the OS/browser, there is no reason the site should be able to tell the difference or block pasting in the first place.

I'm actually glad it uses RTL-SDR, I wasn't aware it was good enough to get interesting results. Ever since I've seen the project by Andrew Holme (mentioned in sibling comments) years ago it has been on my wish list to replic

My desktop remembers all settings, but after power loss still goes into a warning where I have to press F1 to enter settings, then exit them without making changes. I couldn't find an option to not do that.

I understand your frustration, and device sharing is obviously a missing useful feature. But I absolutely don't want it to work without 2FA, and if your only 2FA is your phone you have other problems.

Getting DVD players without region locks used to be a thing to get cheaper movies imported from abroad. (Briefly, from what I recall. Bootleg discs got much cheaper and easily available)

Similar but opposite story: 20ish years ago I hung out in an IRC channel in which, during autumn/winter months, one person would frequently get disconnected and when he came back complained about foggy weather. He had a laser line or s

Same, my macbook had unusable wifi when playing music via Bluetooth headphones. Switched to playing from my phone, somehow that worked - probably problem with the BT radio in the laptop since I didn't change wifi channel.

I use it together with VS code and rust-analyser. I like having a view of the entire project - if I break something in a file I don't have open in the editor it is more obvious in the bacon output. You can also switch it to test mode.

This is the sort of thing where artificially generated samples work well. Spawn a random set of blocks, run a physics engine for a bit to have them pile up, add random lights and render to an image. The renderer can also give you a ground t

Yes I have it fastened all the time too. My point was the fact the "fasten seatbelt sign" was not lit in the middle of the flight makes people think it is OK to not have it fastened. Which isn't true.
