Wow, cool bike! Said nobody. It's sad to see so much effort being put into a product that is utterly uncool. Maybe start with the design (cool) and then integrate the mechanics. This is how companies design cool cars.

You are making things up out of thin air. These are recalls from JAN 2024- MAR 2025 Ford Motor Company, 94 (7%) Chrysler (FCA US, LLC), 78 (6%) Forest River, Inc., 67 (5%) General Motors, LLC, 41 (3%) BMW of North America, LLC,

Great to see someone trying to innovate. It's surprising humans haven't come up with a better input method than an old school keyboard. Who would have thought that a typewriter from 1874 would still be so visible on a modern Macbo

I suppose an external battery pack adds the bonus of doing a hard shutdown, in the case it decides to go rogue. Though getting to the battery pack might be hard if it resists you.

It depends on the battery life. If the robot lasts all day, then charging at night via standing on a charging pad makes a lot of sense. Creating a removable battery pack adds extra weight and gives the designers less freedom to place the ba

Yes. People can now go for walks, mountain bike, and enjoy the outdoors next to their neighborhood.

This begs the question of what is the most quiet fan(s) on the market? If all of us sat down in a room together and had this mission, what would it look like? An electrostatic fan (using electrohydrodynamics) would be pretty silent, but pro

How did you have the wherewithal to remember you had this tool? Where did you keep the tool? Did the tool come with the car or did you buy it just in case?

The juxtaposition in the marketing speak is ridiculous. "...all with a whole lot less effort." Seriously Apple, a whole lot less?

I am forever grateful to Starbucks in San Francisco for offering a public accessible restroom during an extreme bathroom emergency. For whatever reason, my body did not react well to "Vitamin Water" while riding on the BART. I thi

Nice to see someone using a rightly-sized microcontroller for their project. Most hackers today throw an ESP32, or worse yet, a Raspberry Pi to handle the simplest of tasks. I suppose this is because the platforms are so readily available,

Also, some problems don't have enough data for a solution. I had a professor that gave tests where the answer was sometimes "not solvable." Taking these tests was like sweating bullets because you were not sure if you're

My favorite todo app is "NotePlan.co" which actually uses .txt files for its data storage. The file is synced on icloud and can be used on iOS and mac OS apps.

Seems there is a huge opportunity for startups to understand and fix our guts. A Theranos of gut testing, where you can find out if you have biomarkers that need adjusted from your stool sample.

Contractors that produce standing metal seam roof panels on site are right inline with this concept. They bring a magic machine with a long roll of steel. Then they form and cut the panels to lengths based on the job site. It’s a super cool

Capital expenditures are the dominant cost for semi fabs. Labor is actually relatively small. For example, "just" a tester machine, which tests parts before final, cost $5-10M each, and there are usually rows of these machines as

Some changes, like having a highway bypass a small city, can be catastrophic to local businesses. A restaurant that might have hundreds of out-of-town cars go by, now has only local residents.
