Another Tip: Try an Aeropress Designed by the same guy who came up with the aerobie, it makes very good espresso shots (add water for americano) and it costs about 25 dollars. The great thing about espresso vs. french press or drip is that

I appreciate you taking the time to share this with the HN community. Would be great if you could run a few more programs like this in parallel for some additional income.

Well I did a little research and it looks like when gas powered cars reach 40-50mpg they achieve the same level of pollution as an electric car in terms of net BTUs required to run them. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-schildgen/evs-vs-g

The point I'm trying to make is that converting cars over to electric right now is not a green solution. I believe there is less pollution by running an efficient combustion engine than running an electric card that's powered off a coal pl

FYI, electric does not mean green. Most electricity is generated from dirty coal so there's no net benefit from using electric cars until we can generate cleaner power production.

I think google probably puts some emphasis on PR since its an indicator of your sites value. I don't have hard data on PR vs cpm though. Let me know if you find any data on this...

I made a pretty sweet graphing weather monitor using this screen. Plots the indoor and outdoor temperature and of course doesn't use any batteries when it's idle. I packaged it up in a 1" thick display and have it hanging on my wall. Dat

True Story: My first experience in making PCB's didn't go so well. I was in junior high and just started getting into electronics because I was obsessed with the dream of creating my own car-audio amps (think Kicker, JBL, etc). Note I was
