I don’t really understand how so. Countries that have handled it aggressively at least have the option to open borders and allow the virus to spread if they felt like that would for some reason put them in a better position. But this way th

I don’t really see how this is more of a direct advertisement than other Show HN posts and the service is free.

New Zealand definitely benefited a lot from being a remote island nation but our response also got a lot of things right. For example, being quick to implement travel restrictions and eventually a closed border. The other example that stood

One aspect of this set up I’ve never been able to understand is how the application then gets the result from the worker? If it’s polling for status from the backend doesn’t that defeat the purpose of having a worker to begin with? Or does

You're right, it is just to paywall pro features. I was mistaken. Mixed it up with other Reddit clients.

You're completely right, I was mistaken. Was thinking of other Reddit client's I've tried. It's been a long time since I purchased the full edition so my memory is a bit hazy. Sorry about that.

Agreed. Camera upload to DropBox is one situation I've run into. Currently it seems like it's using some janky set up where each time I change location it triggers an event to look for new photos to upload but this results in Appl
