I like that there are so many haters who don’t get it or don’t think it’s useful and then there are 5 or so very similar projects in various stages of development listed in the comments. It’s giving “what if I don’t like beans?”

That was never the case back when I was rooting phones. Sometimes the phone would reboot immediately after getting root so that you could do something useful like installing recovery, but maybe something has changed.

Just my two cents, Xreal is a long way from a good product. There are other brands like Viture to consider which have more support for the limited software solutions out there. Make sure you do some looking into whether they are compatible

Maybe some of the non-xreal brands or some combinations of hardware provide usable experiences, but all my experiences with xreal have been abysmal.
