Very glad to see EFF put this out there. We’re just some of the people who saw the problem coming before others. Now others are catching up. Also, had this username since the Apple CSAM debacle and we all see how that went. Stay positive!

Glad to see this is being brought up. It’s obnoxious how many companies are throwing recycled plastics into consumer goods (watch bands, hats, phone cases, some clothes even) with no regard to health consequences. I’m all about being better

It’s not the same scanning. Apple’s scanning is on device while Google and others scan for CSAM in their respective clouds.

I’m keeping my 12 on iOS 14 for as long as possible. Keeping an eye on this issue and their potential antitrust case. Voting with my wallet and canceled my 2TB plan. Will not be buying any of their hardware anymore.
