Mine gets a little hot, but as long as you don't block the vent it's fine. I have one of the early 11th gen ones.

Maybe metal contracts at lower temperatures and thus the drive head is able to move with less friction. I will be trying this if I ever experience it. I don't have computer hardware fail that often.

High voltage intercontinental direct current could really make this possible.

I thought this was a Samsung feature. On Samsung it doesn't uninstall it, it just removes permissions and then finally disables it. What OS are you using that it uninstalls things?

I've always heard that if you want to sanitize water for bacteria you can put the water in the sun for half an hour and that will kill all the bacteria. I've also wondered what the growth rate of bacteria would be in water without

cmrdporcupine has a good answer for this below. Target RISC-V. Does it match the ideology? From my limited understanding, I think so.

Wow, down votes for a question. As a non rust developer, and non BSD user, but tangently aware of these things I am just trying to understand the energy of these communities. Guess I got my answer.

Are any of the developers asking to switch to Rust?

More info? It goes further than just the error message. I think the original exploit was based on how quickly Unix would fail to login. (Bad user failed faster than bad password) and that allowed you to enumerate the user names.

11th gen owner here. Yeah I found this confusing as well, but probably the least annoying thing that has bothered me on a laptop.

It's a personal choice. Anything that gets passwords, a means of authentication, or touches accounts with money needs to get all of its updates. Otherwise it's an entertainment device. So, Netflix, and video games. I've bee

As a rule me and my family don't use devices that don't get software updates. As soon as they're not patching it the devices as good as dead to us. The most we will do with it is play video games on it. Even my very computer

I've been using Brave as my daily driver for a while now. I like it. I understand people don't like crypto blah blah blah but you don't have to use it.

I have heard pulling your weight can also mean your butt lifting slightly off the seat on the drive. I'm not sure which is the case. I imagine the etymology is similar to "way enough" or is it "weigh enough"? Which

Yes concept 2 is the standard. But you would have more fun joining a club and going on the water. For the most part people hate the erg. And this is coming from someone that owns two concept2's and rows on the water or the erg about

To work ethic without intelligence: yes I agree. The way I look at it is: Your intelligence puts a ceiling on what types of success you can have, your work ethic determines how far you will go with your chosen path. Probably not everything,

So not too long ago I think I figured out why people read fiction. I couldn't understand it, why would you want to know stories that weren't true? I think it's all about the social intelligence. True stories are what they are

I understand work ethic to be a better predictor of wealth than intelligence. You can imagine a lots of smart slacker not living up to their potential.

So I can't speak to this specifically but I think it's well known reading to children when they're young improves their IQ. And that sounds pretty believable to me. In the formative years if you give the brain good info it&#x
