At work, I'm even doing it the other way around: Windows runs as a guest in Linux. Nothing get's done in Windows unless it's more work to do it in Linux. Interestingly, for me that's only two things: VPNs and Citrix Metaframe to connect to

If CS grads were smarter, they’d see this as an opportunity, because MS is still a vast percentage of all corporate IT. Yes, VBA is the worst language in the history of the world, but you can get good money doing it, and a

Great point! If that were possible, I'd put them back online. It wouldn't "spread the word", but hey - right now I'd be doing advertisement without benefits.

I know about that and pointed that out. Anyway, do you mathematically see a good reason to keep advertising a service from the sample it does not work in?

I'm glad you made some revenue and/or publicity via flattr. But may I say that I pointed to that in my article: "By no means does my experiment imply any significant validity for the general public, but I see no reason to keep the advertisi

Sorry man, but that's just a random collection of FUD there. The AppStore won't be the only way to install apps on the Mac, it will be - as you correctly pointed out - the most convenient for the average user. Concering your argument on fra

Thanks, but that's the wrong way around. I don't want to resolve a domain name, I want my domain name to be resolved - ergo I need a DNS provider for my websites, not a DNS resolver for my client.

I do that with some of my other domains - that's probably the best option, because when your hoster/registrar goes down, there's simply no need for DNS. But Swiss .ch and .li domains are registered through switch - and they don't offer own
