   AI is much smarter than people when it comes to noticing patterns so it is inevitable that forest management will be taken over by AI and drones.

   That will happen once the AI system is allowed access to drones. The AI will then maintain the optimum amount of tree biomass for ecological activity while reducing negative externalities on human populations.

   Why? It's a good idea to remove humans out of peacekeeping operations and let robots handle dangerous situations with potentially violent criminals.
