Great post. I'd love to see one talking about building a full stack app using Yew and Actix (or Rocket). And good ways of sharing types between the frontend and the backend.

I wonder what would be more efficient, constantly trying to eke out some performance out of a inherently slow language? Or writing/rewriting new/critical paths of the codebase in a faster language. Ruby used to be able to say we s

I did the same! Eventually I found a simple CLI idea I wanted to implement and decided to learn enough rust to do so. Glad I stuck with it. Still haven’t gotten around to doing anything with Rust and WASM yet tho.

I used Elm in 0.18. I actively campaigned for its use. After 0.19, I actively campaign against it. Back when I chose Elm, ReasonML and ReasonReact was not around. That is what I would choose instead now. I am currently stuck with an Elm 0.1

Good time for people to look into DigitalOcean managed Kubernetes (DOKS). I've been using it since it was in pre-release and its been great so far. Their support has been very responsive as well. https://www.digitalocean.com
