Thank you! I’ll try that. Building an airgradient sensor is next in my list of projects!

I have a question since the author is around: My sensor was working fine for a few months. It’s located near the area I smoke, so whenever I’m smoking it changes to red quickly. And after a few minutes (10 or so) it’d go back to green. But

Curiously, I have seen this prompt in apps that did not normally ask for this permission when I was on a captive network without having logged in. No idea why it was prompted, but could be related somehow?

Article briefly mentions: > Using yield in a function definition is not the only way in which generators can be constructed in Python Anyone can point out what do they mean by that? Googling didn’t help much.

The quickguide [0] is beautiful and quite well written catalog of the features and included programs. [0] https://psychoslinux.gitlab.io/DOS/QCKGUIDE.PDF

Quite interesting! Reminds me of http://507movements.com/ Edit: It’s linked in the website as a “sister site”.

I constantly need to add a couple of exceptions to the defaults though. And only because it's pretty weird syntax to let you get the block level meaning become obvious for a small part of the otherwise current standards we are using. (

Also add polyfills. Few devices (usually the slightly older fw locked devices) which can get a reuse on local net will get some reuse benefit if you added polyfills. I am doing this by conditional "polyfills with SSR" with nginx&#

Check out my own thread earlier up the thread. I think that'd be the difference, since she didn't get critical peer reviews on her work which is how we've decided to do science. The thread is interesting to me because I was r

Completely agree. This is the "formal training required" part that we miss while recounting these anecdotes. I still love the book, as in, It's giving you a sea to dip a little, look at pretty cool turtles, but one's got

Yep, I still remember reading the book when my dad it got for me (I was 8!). I don't recall everything, but few things stuck with me from the book. Exponential growths, for example. I sort of recall that she took the example of either

I used to have unlimited 512kbps "broadband" via public tel (BSNL, Phone line), up until 2013. I moved to delhi and as a broke university student, I'd gone through incremental upgrades with cable, fiber, wi-max connections, a

Your main function needs to be async as well, since the one_time_setup is async. Linking this SO answer that also links to the docs (may come handy!). https://stackoverflow.com/questions/57399157/runtimewarning-...

I took a few pictures and uploaded them here [1]. I recall that I'd already de-soldered a few components (for the salvage-drawer!) and cleaned the awful flux residues so the my pictures look much cleaner than how it was when I opened i

Interesting. I tore one down recently. It was a gift for my nephew but didn't work out of the box. Well, it did "work", as in, it identified as genuine controller; had all "real stuff" look, but buttons skipped, lag

I tried LinuxBrew on my Raspberry Pi to install couple of packages not in Debian. Unlike MacOS, you don’t get « bottled » packages (pre-built), so it took a while to compile and pulled in build dependencies. Wasn’t pleased, but: I would con

Haven’t been back in India for a while, but the DNS blocking happens all the time. One big provider (AirTel) even injected ads in non-https pages quite frequently. Anecdotally, I had a cable service in Delhi where the provider started throt

I ended up rubbing it off. Used a mouthwash for it (alcohol didn't work, perhaps "microcrystals" did the job). If you do that there will be lots of micro scratches on screen, but it's still better than looking at stains,

Any recommendations for softwares to play around with? I got a NooSDR (€30 ish on amazon). I agree so much that its 1090MHz(?) leaves so much to explore, but I didn't have much luck other than decoding TV/FM/DAB using CubicSD

Not so sure that “last declaration wins” would be great — a very specific example: jupyter notebooks (used to?) add custom.css before the original stylesheet. It’d be impossible if that were the case, I guess?
