Likely we'll see such a system with electric motorcycles (and similar categories) first, which is like a "small scale" version due to the smaller battery capacity & size. E.g. Honda is working on it: http://www

The issue I see with that is that messengers (platforms) have a strong network effect - it becomes useful to you if you can reach your contacts there. Making it paid creates an inconvenience even if the price extremely low, if you don'

(This may be an aside, but I want to add this) While it is true that there is quite a difference in GDP per capita between different EU countries, please consider that Luxembourg has a very particular standing and as an outlier is not repre

In some North/West European countries paying above 0.30€/kWh has been the norm for years. Anecdotally: In Germany I pay about 100€/month for an apartment (with normal homeoffice PC usage). 3500-4000 kWh/year.

It's not reasonable to expect a candidate to give up their secure job / salary for a two week trial. It gets more complicated as within the first weeks you're probably mostly ramping up and not very productive yet, so it'

> unlimited > up to 5 weeks This seems surreal to me, given that here (Germany) that is just above the legal minimum and every decent job gives 25-30 days. If someone offered "unlimited" here, I'd expect at least 40-50

The drawback is that cable it is a shared medium, so it can be quite bad when demand is high (in the evening) and the upload bandwidth usually is very low.

As I am also looking for a flat in Berlin I can only say: At least you got a response. It's nearly impossible to find anything below 20€/m² cold rent and some people are trying to (illegally) sell on old, cheap contracts for 6000€

The issue is likely that in Qubes OS you don't have hardware acceleration. The bottleneck might very well be single thread performance, though your tips are worth a try. For me it depends on the specifics of the video, usually ~10 Mbit

A modern dryer uses less than 2 kWh for an 8kg run [0]. That means for those 38 kWh you need to run it daily for almost 3 weeks. Normal usage (let's say twice per week) would lead to ~3 kWh energy consumption. [0] Siemens WT47R400: 176

A household dryer is very unlikely to get anywhere near 6 kW even at peak. In Europe it's common to have 16 A at 220-240 V which gives you a maximum of roughly 3.5 kW.
