Sous Vide taught me resting meet was a farce. There's zero rest time when cooking that way, and it causes the meat, especially steak, to come out perfect every single time. There's a reason why it's pretty much banned in most

The flicker in the corner of my eye. It started to make me sick to my stomach somehow. It's a weird feeling.

You missed the irony of the monitor sitting on a NUC that is probably 1000x more powerful than the Pi running the weather lol.

I run one of these on my desk 24x7 with a raspberry pi and a 3D printed monitor that simulates a CRT. I tried with a real CRT TV but the frequency and having it at the side of my main monitor started to make me sick. https://imgu

I sold my bike and gave up riding because it was just too dangerous. It's not just that people don't see you, they're not even looking anymore, they're on their phones.

If I charge back some random store because I didn't get what I ordered no problem. If I charge back Apple they can effectively shut my phone down and not allow me to install another App.

This is what bad management at Apple looks like. They were now forced to cut off the spice flow that is millions of dollars of IAPs from games in their coveted services pie chart because they got cocky. Roblox alone is going to show up on t

Because there is only one store. Two if you count the Play store, but you're not required to be in that store. And when you become big enough, suddenly you're playing by different rules, rules where monopoly laws come into play.

The top brass at Apple just think they are above everyone else. Remember when Tim Cook lied about Apple not giving anyone special terms in the app store and that everyone gets the same deal. And then it came out Netflix was one that got spe

He's talking about the QC45's or QC35's and yeah, they are that good. I could wear them 10 hours a day without issue, and they do lower the sound floor tremendously. They are not a perfect solution, but the cost to performanc

Canon is dead to me after they forced 3rd parties to stop all RF lenses. I bought the last AF lens by Viltrox and it's fantastic. I regret getting an RF body after they threatened them, and now only allow 3rd parties on their crop sens

I just want an 11" Macbook air again. Even with the M2 it would fly. iPads with this horsepower just don't make sense. It's like a V8 Miata with 4 donuts for tires.

Yes, I was mad before it existed and didn't use icloud backups. With the E2E and ADP I turned it on. If it gets nuked in the US I'll go back to encrypted local backups only.

Does this reset itself after a certain amount of time or is it one and done? I'd be worried about the feature being removed when the iPad or airpods decide they've been in India for too long.

What's crazy is that the M4 Pro is in the Mac mini, something so tiny can handle that chip. The Mac Studio with the M4 Max will be awesome but the Mini is remarkable.
