Don't need AMD RDNA 2 for Gamecube. I'm able to play Gamecube on Dolphin just fine on my Thinkpad T430 with Intel Integrated Graphics. Framerates are very playable, but fall short of perfect. No up-scaling used.

The first rule of using Reddit for research, is that you don't tell anyone you are using Reddit for research. Implementing a feature like this will turn Reddit into an astroturfed, SEO hell. There are already articles of people spendin

It's cool that the repo has 3D printable cases. But are there any plans of officially making and selling a "ThinkPad killer" chassis where the laptop is more durable, has TrackPoint, and classic keyboard?

That because most cities right now are road/car-based. Maybe once Cytopia is further developed walk-able cities can be designed.

Very much still a prototype compared to SimCity.

OpenTTD has more of a focus on transport and economy. This project focuses more on city building like the SimCity games.

If your comment was aimed at shine specifically, here is an excerpt from the bottom of the readme: This code was dug out from the dusty crates of those times before internet and github. It apparently was created by Gabriel Bouvigne sometim

Probably isn't the best idea to compare AVIF to JPEG. JPEG is better suited to high fidelity images, while AVIF is ideal for making the image look good as small as it can. I suggest looking into JPEG XL for things like photography, sca

Just started playing for the first time last month using the voiceovers from the 3DO version. Despite being before my time, I found it extremely engaging. Clearly a classic, and with the open-source engine release, eternal. Download and pla

Perhaps I should've re-thought that part. Realism was widely interpreted to be the goal at the time. But the changelog only mentions code simplification. I'd say if you compare the first two set of screenshots. It is more realisti

Veloren is great. I'm pretty sure it's worldgen uses Simplex noise, rather than the Perlin noise like MC does.

I agree modding OpenMW is painful because of the fracture. Though I must say, out of all the Elder Scrolls games, Morrowind has always been the one I've felt like modding the least. Maybe it's just perfect?
