Not really, in the case of summumly 2 engineers did not pass the yahoo tests and most probably will not be working for yahoo. Congrats to them, they got the money without the 18 months contract... http://philosophically.com/the-summly-deal

Agreed, as an evangelist her twitter account represent Sendgrid, as such Sendgrid approve of this message which is baffling to me. I'm really sad these guys lost their jobs because of these remarks, I don't think the way she handled that is

Yea, the support team want multiple scenarios (intros) in a page, we use a param, so they can link to it and push them to users asking how to do stuff, it becomes for us like an advanced, usable, faq system

Well hacker news is generally better because if you get too much down voted nobody will see your comments anymore. I think that self regulate much of HN comments, and you think twice before being an asshole (if you know about that..).

They will be killing a lot of third party plugin too, a good example would be the wordpress plugins, a lot of them use the jsonp stuff. Seems weird to mee, but hey, anything to make money in the end I guess
