   Calling beam search 'AI' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. This is just superoptimization with a very expensive heuristic function.

   For the offline problem, AI found a new solution that was 34% faster. Interesting results!

   this feels less like Copilot and more like AlphaGo for systems programming. it's not just finding patterns in existing code, but discovering novel and more efficient strategies in a given problem space. Very cool.
