Can you explain more? It seems like you're saying that RESTful APIs should somehow be self-documenting, and that there should be no need for an API specification. I've never heard this argument before and would love to know more.

With all due respect, I think you're asking the wrong question. (a) Think of investments like a function with two inputs: risk and return. You've picked a desired level of return but haven't identified a desired level of risk, so by defini

The same law that defines "Accredited Investor" (Regulation D) also defines the situations in which the investor does not need to be accredited. There are three categories of exemptions: http://www.sec.gov/answers/rule504.htm http://www.

Fantastic! HN does not scale well at all to the Droid/Nexus resolutions. Thanks for doing this. Maybe I'm the only one, but I much prefer reading black text on a white background. The inverted color scheme is hard on my eyes.

Let's ignore the _trillions_ of dollars being made by ALL .coms and just focus on one of them: Amazon. 2008 revenues of $20BB. To match that, Apple would need to sell $66BB worth of apps in one year. If the average price on the app store

I'm not sure why you linked to that, but if you're suggesting that the OP must become an accredited investor in order to angel invest, then you are incorrect. I will fight your link with another link: http://www.sec.gov/answers/rule504.htm

If the OP is a sole proprietor in the United States, then incorporation won't alter the tax burden. Incorporation is still a good idea, for other reasons (simplified banking, limited liability, etc).

Here's a simple case. Company is worth $1MM. You own 10% of the company. Company gets a $1MM cash investment. You get diluted to 5%. But the company is now instantly worth $2MM. 10% of $1MM = 5% of $2MM This is not bullshit, it's math.
